It's been a while since Waverly has beaten Oak Hill at Waverly. At 10-5 the Oaks are a good team and capable of winning just about anywhere they play. They took Valley to the wire and that was at Valley. That's saying something......

This is one of the most important games of the season for Waverly. Huge implications as far as tournament seeding and also staying in contention for a league title.

There is a lot riding on this game! Look for a high intensity affair and a much closer game than took place at Oak Hill. Imperative that Waverly plays with energy and be on top of their game.

Go Tigers!!!

Waverly by as many as they want. Kretzer drops 35.

If he drops that much he will be very close to being the all time leading scorer at waverly. He will have to shoot well tonight because more than likely the oaks will pack in a zone defense.

Yes, that was the final score. Big win for Oak Hill.

Have not seen Oak Hill this year but I saw Waverly in Chesapeake. Thought Waverly would win that one.

According to Buzz on 97.7 FM, Oak Hill scored 32 in the fourth quarter including 13 of 13 foul shots.

Can't wait to hear the comments after this one. I am sure it was the dirty play of the Oaks like in past years.

If waverly had a coach they could be great. I have seen them play a few times this year and just don't understand his coaching. At burg they had Kretzer playing outside and had a double digit lead. Then in second half put him in the post and burg double teamed him. I think he only had 4 points in second half. Burg took it to overtime. He has just had great players to cover his poor coaching.

Wow that's surprising to hear. What were the Waverly faithful saying about coaches who didn't make it to the Convo or won the classic?
