The past four years I very went to nearly every home game, but I've moved recently so I haven't been able to attend any at all. Have a good trip out there! Oh and where something purple. lol

Should be a great game. 93 did you ever figure out how to take 33 past meigs high school to the bashan rd exit to get to southerns gym or are you still going to the river and through the speed traps to get there?

Biggest game of the year, will go a long way in determining the Hocking championship.Belpre will need to play a lot better than they did in the game at Belpre. They have been playing a lot more consistant basketball except for the Warren game.A Belpre win puts them 2 games up in the conference and I look for them to take it in a close one 58-54. LETS GO EAGLES!!

Nope ... Still go straight - when I see water - I turn left ... lol

I don't mind it though ... All we have around here are hills, bars and drunk college students ... Its a nice peaceful drive down along the river.

It's not much different time-wise, but PLEASE watch your speed in Racine and Syracuse. Yes, the river drive is nice.

As was said, wear purple!! It's purple-out night. ;-)

Growing up in Athens and playing all 3 sports for the 'Dogs ... We absolutly hated LOGAN with a passion - they were our rival for years!

The only purple thing I own is hanging on the wall acting as a dart-board.

Sorry.

(BTW) Since Nelsonville-York has become the Bulldogs rival - I don't have any orange & black either ... So I'll just be wearing neutral attire Friday ... lol ... Mayber an Ohio State sweat shirt - can't go wrong there.

You better make that a Ohio State tee shirt because it was even hotter than usual Friday. lol

There was some older folks that had to leave the game early last friday because of the extreme heat made it hard for them to breath. Hopefully the new gym will be better controlled climate wise.

I expect a hard fought game between two solid teams. With the game being played in Racine and the fact that Southern won the first matchup, I'll go with Southern by 10.

Since the first meeting, Jake Ullman has been lighting it up scoring in the 20's just about every game ... Who would guard Ullman from Southern or do the Tornadoes just go mostly zone all the time? There will be tons of story lines already with a possible league title on the line - but I'm thinking the winner of this game may also boast the TVC-Hocking P.O.Y - depending on the outcome and performances of certain players.

Probably Martin he guarded Haner at SG and held him to 6 & and guarded him at Southern most of the Game at Southern & he got 11(4 foul line). He wasn't 100 percent. Martin injured his foot against wellston. But I'm sure Coach Caldwell will keep it mixed up.he does a good job at changing defenses.should be a good game!

93,

Ullman had 23 in the first game in Southern's 63-49 win.

We're going to need a solid TEAM effort tonight and not just a good game by one or two players. Good luck to Coach Thornhill and the Belpre Golden Eagles!
