Legendary head coach Howie Caldwell returns home as the Athens County High School Basketball Game of the Week returns Friday night on Power 105.

Caldwell and Fed Hock hit the road for Reedsville to return back where the head man spent the last 10 years on the basketball sidelines.

The Lancers have struggled on the road this season, and will face another tough environment Friday night inside the Eagles Nest.

Join us Friday night from Eastern High School at 7:30 with pregame coverage with the tip off coming your way at 7:45.

After starting 4-1 with at least two wins against very weak teams Meigs and Alex, Eastern has turned into the team he thought it would. The only quality win is Southern and it was in Chester and the big time rival. I also noticed on channel 15 reply of last nights game that the JV team is now 1-9 or 1-10. Three T's last night on players and Coach two fans tossed the wheels are falling off. If they don't get this one it may be a while before they get another win.

Seems like the confidence is gone and losses are just expected again. We'll see what kind of character they have now

I wonder where all those Howie bashers are now? You know, the ones that were on here saying Howie who, and saying all the kids who hated Howie love this new guy. Remember all the tales about how this guy has players coming out of the woodwork to play that would never step in the gym when Howie was there. I guess maybe there was a reason they didn't play when Howie was there, and it was not just that they didn't like him. :12224

I look for a great atmosphere down in Reedsville tonight, and also look for another Lancer victory over the Eagles.

I would say that if Eastern was undefeated you guys would still be hiding under a rock.

FH 51 Eastern 27 Final

Great job defensively by the Lancers. Good luck to Eastern the rest of the season.

Eastern couldn't get anything inside against Federal 2-3. I thought Easterns defense was very good though. The officials for both games were the best I've seen.
