Why didn't the game at Coshocton count? I saw somewhere on here that it was a forfeit, was that true?

Marietta will play Coshocton, Claymont, Meadowbrook, Rosecrans and River View only once in the league each year. Marietta needed another game to fill out their schedule and Coshocton agreed to play Marietta up there. Coshocton won that game by > 20. Marietta will play Zanesville, New Philly, Dover and Cambridge twice each year.
Tonight:
Tim Grosel 26
Matt Thompson 12
Eli Lenington 12
Nate Williams 10
Jordan Saterfield 6
Justin Futrell 2
Shot better than 50% from the field

Coshocton 12 10 16 25 -- 63
Marietta... 17 10 16 25 -- 68
Only one qtr was won tonight by either team. A well played game by both teams. Satterfield and Thompson are playing very well in their relief roles. Satterfield hit a trey to end the 1st quarter with a five point lead, and their first lead of more than 3. After that, Coshocton never got closer than 3, and the Tiger lead stayed in a 3 to 13 point for the final 3 quarters which all resulted in both teams scoring the same number of points. Coshocton sure didn't give up. They hit their first trey later in the 3rd quarter, then hit 5 in the 4th(4 different players, 5 in the game). Satterfield gives good ball handling which was important in the 2nd qtr when Grosel picked up his 2nd foul early and sat out several minutes during which the Tigers maintained or even increased their lead by a bit. In fact Satterfield's ball handling gave the Tigers enough in the Warren game to be able to be able to not succumb to the Warren press were it not for a couple passes late that were pilfered mostly due to the pass receiver not going strongly to the ball. Lennington had several controlled weaving drives that were big in the 3rd and early 4th qtrs.

... good to see the
Tigers of Coach Secrest putting it together again on the hardwood ... seemed to be a stretch where "things" weren't going the MHS way - coach was getting some heat, the boyz were getting some heat ... keep rolling Tigers ! looking forward to running into Coach Secrest when he brings the Orange & Black to Logan in the Sectional ...

Though game on friday the 27th @ New Philadelphia for the Tigers. They'll need to play their best game of the year to take this game.
