Kyre Alison, is south east district division 3 player of the year , a well deserved honer with all the great players in this division.

Kyre , finished his career at Portsmouth with 1,688 points "a school record" and 600 rebounds.

He is being recruited by a few Schools with Marshal and Wichita state being two of the top two , rumor is ,he really likes Marshal.

its been fun watching this kid play from 7th grade one,best of luck to him.

It doesn't come out til next week...but, Congrats to Ky're. It was a pleasure watching him the last 4 years and will be a pleasure to watch him at the next level.

I don't think its a big deal to keep it out there. You didn't name off the other people and plus, I'm sure those kids coaches have already told them since the voting was done 12 days ago.

It's a great accomplishment and it should be celebrated.

Congratulations to Kyre on a great career......a future PHS Hall Of Famer for sure. Not only is the all time leading scorer in Trojan history, but to grab 600 rebounds is remarkable for a kid who is only 6-1, maybe 6-2 stretching it. His 1,688 point total will probably stand for quite a while.

I will always remember then-Trojan coach Josh Shoemaker (now Minford's coach) who alerted me to Kyre when he was in the 4th grade. Josh told me that there was a kid who was really special and that he one day would be a great Trojan. It's always a great story when a kid's career goes pretty much as predicted.

Kyre will do well at the next level, and will do well in life also.
