Piketon rolls into Portsmouth for a homecoming for Piketon Coach Jeff Lisath. Interesting game, Portsmouth is rolling this season, and Piketon has had its moments of looking like a top tier team. I cant believe there isn't a thread already! The Streaks looking for a signature win, this definately would be it, however they must limit Portsmouths offensive rebounds and limit the turnovers. Good luck to both, but Lets Go Streaks!~

Lost @ Huntington Ross 59-55
Lost @ Waverly 89-64, It was a 10 point game early in the 4th and the wheels fell off for Piketon
Lost @ Unioto 45-43 on a last second shot.

All 3 of Piketons losses have been to very good teams and all on the road! lol

Probably a 13 point win over Vinton County at Ohio University Chillicothe neutral floor. Piketon led by as much as 22 in that game.

No games I would consider big wins to date, but the toughest part of the schedule for the Streaks will tell the tale of what kind of team they are. This team has some talent, but young and lack real game experience. I remember a few years back when a Piketon team led by Doug Williams went down and took one from the Trojans in P-Town. In fact the last three meetings were at Portsmouth, hopefully the Trojans will travel to the "Oven" next season. Two key factors is 1) Streaks must handle the pressure. 2) Streaks must rebound. To my understanding the Trojans are on a roll....so Coach L will have to figure out a way to slow down that train. Tall order for my Streaks....I know they will fight hard until the final buzzer!

Hopefully the Trojans can rebound quickly after a tough road win at Logan........I think it was good for Portsmouth to have a close game (and still win) after 5 straight lopsided wins.

Piketon is banged up from last nights football game with Zane Trace....what the heck was that? I was just told the Streaks will be down two starters tonight, plus the injury to a key bench player last week vs Unioto. I'm sure Coach L. wanted to have all of his young guns blazing. I look for a great effort by the Streaks. Good Luck!
