Southern tornadoes
Southern tornadoes
I have to say (and I'm sure people will have their own opinions) but I believe Southern has to have one of the very best coaches in southeastern Ohio. If I had been on the sidelines last night with some of the things that were going on with the officiating especially the two technicals I would have probably been thrown out of the game! Butcoach Caldwell never really seemed to lose his cool. And teams will reflect the coach and certainly last night the Tornadoes did. They worked through it and won a big game on the road.

Comes from a good family. He is well respected. He exemplifies that you don't have to be a screaming, foot-stompin' demeaning loudmouth to be a successful coach.
Side note:
I was at that game last night, officiating was poor both ways. It did seem like when SHS would get on a roll, the officiating got worse. Just my opinion. Why would a team who's winning have technicals called on them? Makes one wonder. Southern probably would've won by 20-30pts otherwise, again, in my honest opinion
I'd never seen these guys before, I was not impressed.

I do not care for yelling, screaming coaches. (may have over stepped on the demeaning....) I find it takes away from the game. I have nothing against your son other than his style of coaching.
And that's just an opinion. Some like it, most don't.

I love the foot stomping and his style of coaching. I would love for my kids to play for your son. He is one of the best coaches in the state.DUNK1 wrote:Thanks for the kind words. I am very proud of my grandson and of my son. they are, IMO, the best coaches in this area. I hope the foot stomping comment wasnt directed at my boy. He is misunderstood but he means well.Fan-o-Southern wrote:Comes from a good family. He is well respected.
