VC comes off a road win against a struggling Alex squad. The Red Streaks lose a heart breaker at the buzzer at Unioto.
Although I'll be rooting for The Vikes, they better come ready to play, cause I'm afraid Piketon is gonna come into this game a "little cranky."

This will be a tough physical game.. Looking forward to it.. I think Piketon will pull this one out with an overtime thriller..

Piketon allowed the tempo to be slow last night especially 2nd half allowing unioto to creep back into it, dont know if its because they are beat up? lost 1 player looked like a broken ankle last night (hoping him a speedy recovery) another player was on crutches most of the week. Very athletic team and dangerous when they are pressing and running, half court they are struggling and not boxing out as a team so they arent rebounding well, tonight hopefully we will see 32 minutes of H E double toothpick out of the streaks.

The Vikings are a quarter by quarter team. Just about every game this year, they've had a couple quarters where they look like they could take control and run away with the game, and then in another, they look like they couldn't beat the 8th grade team. If they can put 4 of the good ones together, there isn't a team on the schedule that they can't beat.

i understand Dundas kinda the same thing for the streaks they will play about 1 good quarter of defense and thats when they are at their best, pressure transition up tempo. Doesnt even bother me when a team beats the pressure it keeps that tempo high and if you can get the ball out of the point guards hands into a bigs you will create enough turnovers to make up for it. pour it on dont let them breath.

I wasn't at the Piketon/Unioto game last night but listened to the entire thing on the radio. It was pretty painful to listen to, glad I wasn't watching. Didn't sound like either team played well.

Lots of good defense last night. Unioto was playing without their 4 year starter at PG and Piketon kept getting themselves in bad situations with the ball late. Wasn't a pretty game, but was a great game to be at.
Piketon has the length advantage on VC, but the Vikings feature better shooters. Neither team rebounds well, but will play hard and it should be a fun game.

Definitely a nice win by the Streaks after last night's heart-breaker. Something tells me coach Lisath will have this Piketon team clicking on all cylinders by tourney time and they are gonna be a tough out.

Nice win Piketon played a little better were able to sustain, VC had moments where they played good d but not what i expect out of a VC team and they dont shoot the ball very well.

he was at the game on crutches, have heard conflicting reports 1 was a fracture and a high ankle sprain and then 2 high ankle sprain no break so not sure really. Streaks need to get ready for another big weekend of ball Huntington at home Friday and at Portsmouth Saturday.
