Lynchburg has proven they can compete with anybody in my opinion. VASJ is young, we shall see.

Lunchburg plays scrappy team ball and anyone can score. Coach Carson is a great motivator. Goodluck mustangs. The shac is with you.

VASJ is always a powerhouse, however, they graduated their two studs last year. They still have studs, they're just young.

Lynchburg has a chance, but they better handle pressure or it'll get ugly. If they make it a half court game they have a real shot.

Congrats to my good friend Matt Carson and the Lynchburg Clay Mustangs! I know its an exciting time and the journey to get there will certainly be a part of that lifetime memory. I wish you the very best and I will be there to cheer you on to victory.

This is Lynchburg Clay's 2nd appearance in the Final 4, with the first being in 1993, led by 6-3 star player Paul Cluxton. Villa-Angela St.Joseph graduated all 5 starters last year, with Carlton Bragg now playing at Kansas, and Derek Pardon playing at Northwestern. VASJ plays a very tough schedule, and although they have a lot of new faces, will be a tough opponent for the Mustangs. LC just needs to go out and play their game; they earned the right to be here. The Vikings won't make every shot or grab every rebound, and they will make turnovers. The Mustangs don't have to play a perfect game because VASJ won't either, but LC will have to play well, no doubt.

For Mustang fans, enjoy the Final 4 experience. It is an incredible feat for LC to be one of the last 4 teams remaining in D3. The memories of this 2015-2016 season will last a lifetime.
