Peebles vs. Ripley

This is going to be the game of the season in the SHL. These 2 teams are leading their respective divisions, and only meet once. Both could very well stay undefeated in the SHL. Ripley goes several deep on the bench, and Perkins is a handful that can hurt you outside and inside.
Peebles also runs deep, and have recently proved they still click when their starters get in foul trouble. Trent Arey and Jake Daniels are the best PG/Big Man combo in the League.
Ripley has all week to prep, but Peebles has to contend with Eastern Brown on Tuesday. The Blue Jays are also playing in the Wigwam, with a Red Wave of Peebles fans packing the stands. The SHL's top 2 teams walk onto the hardwood, one comes out on top.
Who's it going to be?

It has the potential to be a fantastic game! If Ripley plays better defense than we have the last couple of games then we should come out on top. I don't think Peebles can beat the depth of the Blue Jays and we have a great inside and outside game. I think the Perkins/Daniels battle will be one to watch, and we'll see which team gets their outside game shut down. If the Jays get lazy on defense, all bets are off!!

Ripley will definitely have to play better than they did against Felicity and St Pat. Peebles will be tough to beat at home so i'll take the Indians by 10.

Sounds to me like Peebles better worry about Eastern Brown on Tuesday instead of looking ahead to Ripley on Friday. Eastern has a pretty good coach and they are getting healthy and just coming off two big wins themselves. If Peebles overlooks them then Eastern could just possibly pick up a win.

There isn't a chance in the world Peebles is overlooking Eastern Brown.

I agree with Ironman. Everyone on the team realizes how dangerous Eastern can be.

And his wearing the blue jersey has no bearing on your opinion, I bet?
I didn't say that Trent was the best...I said that he and Jake were the best combo. I'll sit out this argument because I'm biased towards my nephew, who is the best point guard in the whole wide world.

Both are super quick but i would give the edge to Arey. seems to have a little more offense in his game.

Is the Perkins boys from Ripley any relation to 6'7 Denny Perkins from Manchester?

Arey and Ricketts are both really good point guards, both are good kids and both have a good head on their shoulders. Both very smart and have a very high basketball IQ. Arey is better coached and Peebles runs a way better offense then Manchester does, so it puts Arey in positions to showcase his talent more. In the two head to head matchups this year, Ricketts had the better overall stats, but Areys team came away with the wins. Its a blast to watch them play against each other. It only saddens me that we never get to see it again. Good luck to Peebles and Ripley both on this game, should be a good one. Both teams have some really good kids and fun to watch.

Peebles next 5 games. If they are able to come out with 5 W's, expect some serious talk about the Gold Ball.

Nope, definitely not!
. No, Logan isn't related to Denny-but you aren't the only person to ask, believe me

Wow this is an ongoing argument, seems like I remember posting the stats from last year and ending this argument. Check the stats, and assist to turnover ratio. Arey is a quicker, better ball handler, better passer, better rebounder, and better defender. Ricketts MAY shoot it better, but I would call neither shooters or scorers. Not taking anything away from Ricketts, he's a nice player.
My list may actually go:
Payne- Eastern
Arey- Peebles
Williams- Fairfield
Ricketts- Manchester
Iles- Fayettville
...........................and that my friends, is the UGLY TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
