Doesn't sound too good for the Blue Devils. Any chance for an upset Jottings?

What's wrong with Gallia this year? I saw them play Warren this year and they just didn't seem like they had it together.
Re: Jan. 3, 2012--Ironton (7-0) at Gallipolis (3-6)
What’s wrong?
Dennisdringsbud…One of the problems is several ex-Gallipolis students are playing at other schools, including senior Kyle Love at Oak Hill, senior Cory Hanner at South Gallia, junior Austin Lewis at River Valley, and sophomores Terance Barnetz and Wade Martin at Pt. Pleasant. Then add the loss of this year’s top scorer after seven games (senior Bryce Amos) our coaches have to go with several inexperienced young players.
All of the above players are starters on those teams (except Barnetz) who is out with a football injury) and most of them are scoring in double figures.

Well Jottings, that explains a lot.
Enjoy watching Carter and Fletcher...worth the price of admission.

Ironton wins this one by as much as they want. Gallia fans, enjoy watching Fletcher. He may put up 50. Ironton could score 100 if they want. I'm no Tiger fan obviously...just have a lot of respect for Ironton's talent.

Why are so many kids transferring to other schools?

"Ironton could score 100 if they want." Don't think so.... New GAHS Gym not friendly to shooters... Seen some weird bounces coming off the rims.. Backboards are very shaky long after the shot hits the rim..... Hey Jottings... Most points scored in our Gym is ?????

Two left because off parents leaving the area . I think one has a Parent now coaching at new school. And the other because of two schools within 10 miles apart. Don't think there's any coaching conflicts with the other but I'm not sure
Re: Jan. 3, 2012--Ironton (7-0) at Gallipolis (3-6)
Superblue...79 points so far this year...GAHS put up 79 on Logan here and Chesapeake put up 79 on us earlier in the year.
Have to check 2009-10 and 2010-11 scores to see if anybody scored more than that on us or we scored more than that on anybody.

Hope I'm ready for Tuesday's game. Had a touch of that virus over the weekend. Feeling a little better today. Haven't missed a GAHS game at home or away since I had my hips done four or five years ago.

No 100 for ironton or 50 for fletcher thank goodness they took it easy on us. Good team tho. I can see how they could put up a lot of points . Turnovers and fast breaks killed GAHS tonight particularly in the second half. . Jv players for Gallia played the last 2-3 minutes and gave up 6 or 7 points with none to counter.. which really made it a blowout . Wonder how GAHS would have faired had Amos been able to play .

Jottings not sure about the others, but Lewis has lived in River Valley school district the last 3 years, but Amos still lives in River Valley district and attended elementry school there?Jottings wrote:What’s wrong?

Yeah, I may have sold Gallia a little bit short! I didn't think we played very well in the first half up there in December when we won 79-41. That's why I thought Ironton may go up there fired up after a loss and wring one out! I did enjoy your school and think you have a very nice gym.dewdrinker wrote:No 100 for ironton or 50 for fletcher thank goodness they took it easy on us. Good team tho. I hope the French City can turn things around and get back to thier winning ways. Maybe a phone call to Jamie Lane could get em going!
