Do you think they have over achieved , under achieved or where you thought they would be at during the break ?

To everybodys expectations, they've definitely over achieved up to this point. Lets hope McBee doesn't get hurt

They are a player in this SOC race if they play like this...IMO.

They are where I thought they would be. I don't think they have played their best basketball. They need balanced scoring. Double digits from four or five players each game with consistency every game. One guy can't take them very far and if that continues they will just be a 500 team. They have the ability to finish with Waverly and Valley as one of the top teams if they get the balanced scoring and play defense like I have seen. It will be interesting to see if they can sweep the burg this year.

About where I thought they COULD be. I thought they could be very good, I just wasn't sure if it would all come together. Things certainly have, and are still, coming together. This is basically a brand new line-up so they are still learning to play together. I think they will only get better as the season goes.

And thank you Swanker Pine for that back-handed compliment towards Austin McBee. After Minford beat SW you had a similar comment about McBee. Take the best player off any team and it would hurt them. Take one of the best players in this part of the state off whatever team they are on, and it would be a huge loss. We get it.

It's a back handed compliment to hope someone doesn't fall to injury? If you say so. I'm a minford fan 2nd to Webster.

I think the Falcons are right where they could have been and are . Over achieved if they had won that game @ Valley that they just let get away at the end . But beating 2 good teams in Eastern and Webster proves they are a legit contender in the SOC ..This club has to much talent for me to say they have over achieved and as IronFalcon said these kids have just started playing together and I believe will only improve as the develop chemistry as the year goes on . They have a tough matchup at Jackson coming up Tuesday January 2nd should be a good test for the Falcons . I know the play Green tonite and you can't go into any game over confident and I don't see this team doing that. I also agree they need to find some more balance scoring but I do feel that will come as well as the boys gel together thru out the year ..
