I think the Flyers should have a pretty nice team. They should have some solid senior leadership and some nice underclassmen to step up and play well. I think they will be deeper on the bench than they have been in several years. Coach Sheridan will have them ready to go.

GO FLYERS!!!

12-9 Rock Hill Home 6:00
12-12 Coal Grove Home 6:00
12-19 OVC Away
12-23 Southern Ironton 5:00
12-27 East Away 6:00
12-30 Symmes Vally Home 6:00
1-6 Rock Hill Away 6:00
1-9 Raceland Home 6:00
1-10 Green Away 6:00
1-16 South Gallia Away 6:00
1-17 Notre Dame Home 6:00

2-3 East Home 6:00
2-13 South Gallia Home 6:00
2-17 Notre Dame Away 6:00
2-21 South Webster Away 6:00

All times are what time the JV game starts. Notice that the OVC games don't have times because no JV game will be played those nights, I'm not sure what time those games will start.

Is the Raceland game correct? We played them at home last year as well.

Last time i was at a St Joe game, "shooter" Geswein told me these prophetic words, "You cant play them all the way man on man, you got to push em back from the paint. Watch that purgatory they call a gym. No drives 12 feet in. That'll do,"

Back to topic, the Flyers have a chance to be pretty good. Coach Sheridan will have more depth this year and will have several players fighting for starting positions. District P.O.Y. Chad Harvey returns bigger and stronger than a year ago. Soph. Payton Blair will run the point and should benifit from the experience he got last year.Caleb Blackburn will again be inside banging into anything that moves, fun kid to watch. The other spots I would imagine are wide open. Seniors: Gagai, Basedow, McCown and Klein will all contribute. Junior "Shoeless Joe" Unger returns from missing most of last year with a broken leg and should be a huge help inside.Fellow Junior Antwan Whaley has improved and Sophomores T.J.Young and John Tanner Riley will play alot. Young inside and Riley who could be SJ's best free throw shooter. The schedule is difficult but Sheridan will have them ready. GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen the "shooter" recently, and yes he is a good looking man, but I wouldn't get too excited about seeing him.

Great post Dutchman. Harvey could play for any team of any size in our area. These kids will be fun to watch. I hope there are a few chances I can see them play this year. I was in attendance for last years thrilling victory over Notre Dame. I think Coach Sheridan will be much deeper this year, than last.
Good Luck to the Flyers!!

Hopefully Harvey and Young can get over the disappointment of soccer season being over soon. Once they get that out of their system, then the Flyers will be really good. Good luck and GO Flyers!!!

Well the Flyers got practice officially started last night and from what I've heard it was a decent practice. The Flyers are in a 3 team scrimmage this saturday at Lucasville Valley with Valley and chesapeake starting at 11 am.

Squonk, Come on up to Lucasville saturday at 11 and see for yourself. i'm sure any questions you have would be answered. unless of coarse it would make you uncomfortable to ask questions when someone would know who you are.
