We won 81-47. We were leading 40-12 at halftime.

Junior Dillon McCarty led the way with 23 points. Sophomore Wade Martin had 19 and fellow sophomore Alex Somerville chipped in with 11.

Thanks. Will we play PP in the old remodled gym or the new gym next Tuesday? Blue Devils are really hurting now. Bryce Amos, our top scorer (16.2ppg) suffered an ACL in practice Monday and may be lost for the year. He is 6-5 senior and two-year letterman.

Yes, old gym. Girls team uses the new gym and the boys use the old one. The "new" gym is actually smaller than the old one, which is very small too.

Current leading scorers for the Big Blacks so far are:

Wade Martin (Sophomore) 18.3
Dillon McCarty (Junior) 17.3
Jacob Wamsley (Senior) 12

Some questions:

1. Is either team located in Ohio?
2. Does either play in an ohio conference?

If the answer is no to both, then no one cares.....

Jottings always does a thread with the scores/upcoming games of the teams that Gallia Academy plays so he needs to know the scores of our games to be able to update it accurately.

I've had two people from across the river tell me that they were keeping up to date with our scores from this site so obviously people care. If you personally don't care, don't read it. Pretty simple.

Hey maybe you could tie up the site with every statistic about every kid that takes a shot in any game this year the same way you did during football.

I follow Point Pleasant scores myself and saw their frist game. They have an excellent team and many of our teams in "extreme" southeastern Ohio play them in several sports so I keep up to date on them. The only freshman on the varsity team Aden Yates plays on my AAU team The Southern Ohio Magic, and their leading scorer Wade Martin is from Gallipolis so those kids are certainly relevant.

If promoting KIDS and their achievements on the athletic playing field is wrong then consider me guilty.

Allan was a Point Pleasant athlete and I did everything I could for him when he was here just like I do all of our kids. That hasn't changed since he left and will never change.

I do a lot of work for kids because that's who I am there for. They deserve recognition for their accomplishments. I'm sorry that a lot of you guys don't feel the same way about kids that people like me and Jottings feel about them.

Keep up the good work. My wife and I help many of the kids when we can. Some (not all) lack a good support system at home and are very appreciative of any help.

gobigblacks, as a graduate of Pt. Pleasant H.S., I appreciate being able to keep up with scores/stats on here. I remember the McCarty kid from when he was younger. Have since moved away, so it's nice to see good things happening for these kids. Keep up the good work on this site!

Hum????? what else should this site be about.??? the good or bad refs, the good or bad coaches. the fans , the mothers and dads trying to get their kid a starting postion ??? I think jottings does a hell of good job putting up the info and probabably a few other do too, of which i dont really follow close. Was just thinking the other day about post this so. .... thanks jottings for keeping all this info and posting it on here for everyone to see. not too many others would dedicate themselves quite like that.
