Thoughts and predictions?

Madiera has had a difficult start with injuries. Benintendi (sp?) seems to be playing well averaging 22 ppg but as a whole I believe Ripley has a much greater depth.

Blue Jays by double digits

I dont know a whole lot about Madeira but i'll take them by 5. Could go either way since Ripley is hungry for a little pay back. I didn't realize the game was tonight so I may go.

Im going with Ripley by 5. Madiera always seem to have strong teams and Benintendi is pretty good, though he is a better baseball player(#2 ranked prospect in the state behind Piketon's Zach Farmer, will play at the major D1 level for Arkansas), but I see the Blue Jays pulling this one out.

If Ripley can contain Benintendi they will more than likely win. Madeira has a couple of nice tall players in Zach Scheid 6-6 and Will Steur 6-5, but both are only averaging around 2 points a game.

Well Benintendi does have some native Ripley/Higgensport blood in him. He's the son of Jill Brookbank. And we all know her and her sister could play!

Got to give Madiera credit for playing some great defense! They really shut us down offensively and capitalized on it. Perkins was our only player in double digits with 19. It was a real war on the court

I was very impressed with Perkins. Great mix of strength, speed, and smarts--tough player to guard.

I give Blue Jay Dad credit for not mentioning the travel call the refs blew in the closing seconds. I didn't have a horse in the race so I'll mention it for you. ;)

Ripley's got a good team this year, and they lost to a very good Madeira team.
