The eagles coming off a good win verse a solid Notre Dame team and the Falcons off a doouble OT loss to Valley. The falcons have one of the best guards in the area in McBee and some serious size. The eagles played Valley tough in an earlier loss. I would think Minford should have an edge at home in this matchup but I think the game will be a good one.

Any thoughts?

Minford's poor foul shooting was one of the biggest factors they lost to Valley. They will bounce back with an impressive
win. They have not played their best basketball.

Eaglesnest ... I think you are right on the money about this one being a "good one" ... Minford obviously has some quality talent to have played a very good Valley Indians ball club to that 2OT game this past week ... Eastern getting the "W" vs Portsmouth ND is a big boost for the Eagles heading into this week ... as one would say if they were playing the game of Clue - Minford at Minford with the "W" ... should be a good game to watch from the Cheap Seats ... looking forward to seeing this years Notre Dame squad this weekend at the Convo vs the Tree of Life - always like to put some names/faces/basketball abilities with a team I'm ranking ...

This should be a good game.. If Minford plays to there potential they should win this game.. I look for the bigs for Minford to have a good game.. McBee has the makings to be considered for one of the elite players in SOC 2..Lands is a very good guard as well.. I have heard great things about both these ball clubs from other coaches in the area.... Minford by 5 IMO..

The thing I like about this Minford team, is that they GUARD, and guard well. I see them only getting better as they become more and more efficient on offense.

If eastern can stay out of foul trouble they can win. They are QUICK and Minford seems to have trouble with the press. McBee is a scorer but Minford needs more than one. The bigs guys underneath need to step up and get in double figures. Should be a good one..

The Eagles are not going to put up a ton of points. So they need to stick in that zone and dictate the flow of the game with ball movement and great shot selection. As long as the D is there they will be in great shape, Eagles win 51-47

I'm going with Eastern they have played pretty well to this point and Tavaris has been sicker than an old dog with him feeling better the Eagles will be even better.I also think Lands offsets Mcbee's impact on the game and I don't think Minford doesn't have anyone to counter Satterfield he's 6'3 with a good handle and can score inside or out he's a matchup nightmare.

Im going Minford by 6.
