CLAY 08-09
Well Clay's basketball season is just a few days away and i would like to know what you guys are expecting of the team. Their first game is this Friday vs. Northwest

I think we a c chance to compete in the league this year depending on how well we handle the bll and how well we play together

Hopefully your right Claypantherfan but playing as a team is the hard one to stay to. Remember Denison we played as a team and we stayed with all the teams we played. We went 2-2 but we could've easily went 3-1. Then look at the Portsmouth Shootout we didn't play as a team and the only team we beat was a j.v. team. But if the TEAM plays as a team then maybe Clay can make a pretty good run this year.

Yeah bricklayer you are right if I wouldn't have thrown that pass to the open man in the stands and would have shot it instead b/c I was having a good game shooting wise maybe we would have won

I see most of this thread disappeared, but you will have that when you start running down KIDS and calling them out by name.

Wow guys remember why the last post got deleted. Anyway back to the games. Clay's first four games and pretty much decide the season because if they don't come out with at least one win then all confidence their going to have at the start of a season is going out the window real fast. Now if they can at least get one or two games out of the four then your going to be looking at a very dangerous team.

Bricklayer, the first post got deleted because someone mentioned the kid by name and then people proceeded to rip him to shreds which is a big no no on here. These are just KIDS.

Yeah Claypantherfan that was really the last time i really had fun playing Basketball. I came out of that shootout thinking we really have a chance to be good this year. But the Portsmouth Shootout change my perspective of the team entirely. But looking forward cheering from the stands this year. Hopefully the team doesn't disappoint..........

im not sure who clay played for the foundation game, but clay got stomped
most of their fans left at half time, it was kinda sad

Well one day until the season opener against Northwest and everything is falling into place. And from what i've heard
Gabe is getting back to form from his ankle injury so he'll give some much needed firepower. I'm looking forward to see the Puckett kid to show people what a real shooter is. it's going to be interesting to find out who the starting five are going to be after the crapyou kid got suspended for one game. Who do you guys think should be?
