Wheelersburg looks down a little bit this year it made be a good time for West to be playing them.

West does have a chance. But they need to play for four quarters, they haven't done that yet. They didn't put away ND when they had a chance, nothing away from ND who played their butts off. And then in the first half against New Boston they just looked like they weren't ready to go.
Kudos to West kids and coaches you turned around and pulled of both games it makes for great theatre, but to beat Burg (even if they are down a little) it will take four quarters.

sorry couldnt make new boston game way to pull it out. hopefully west can make more shots from field your shoot better from the free throw line. is wheelersburg good sure they are can west beat them sure they can play four quarters of good hard nose basketball and wheelersburg could be in last place in the soc for a long time. lets go west

Yes we did beat the Pirates in week 10 of football, but this is basketball now. It has been a while since we beat the pirates in basketball. So keep the football away from basketball, it is two different sports. The Pirates are coached by a solid coach and it will take the Siders 4 quarters of good basketball to stay in this one. Yes the Pirates are down this year, but coach their coach will have them ready for the Siders. I hope thce Siders can stay in this one because we will be done if we start like we have the last two games.

I think that the BURG is ready for the the Siders. They can handle the press and with some of the shots that West is throwing up, it doesnt look very good for West. West was 5 for like 28 from the three point line against New Boston. There is no way that West will get that many shots against the Burg.

This should be a good game due to the Senior leadership of the West team and the very young Pirates. The Burg has no Seniors on the team, they start 3 soph., and 2 juniors. (5-juniors, 4-soph., 1-fresh.). We all have to remember the Burg is young, it may take 6-7 games to get started.

Excellent points free safety. They will play good defense though, that I can promise.

The weather could definitely be a problem. I heard the Jr High game at West tonight is cancelled.

As far as this game, I think a prediction of Burg scoring around 80 is way out of line. This year Burg is all about defense. My prediction is Burg 55-38.

I agree. I don't see this team scoring in the 80's in too many games this year. I look for a lot of games in the high 40's to low 60's. Defense will be the key.
