Let me tell you this is going to be a rough game for any ref to do. These teams are going to be up and down the court like I have never seen before. If any would like to come out and watch a horse race

come on down to Portsmouth West friday night.
Good Luck West because Valley is a solid team.
GO SIDERS!
Everyones thoughts?

I agree Cameron34Crazie34, if the refs aren't in shape they may need a call to the rescue squad for some oxygen. Valley's game with NW, the officials struggled to keep up. One could not keep up at all, he was definitely to aged. Should be an entertaining game to see.

Track meet coming to Portsmouth West. I'd say a lot of fans will have to make an appointment with the chiropractor soon after this game. Lots of fast paced action. The winner will be the team that plays defense.

At times against Burg in the second half West looked like a legitmately good team, but poor press defense, and turnovers in the first half dug them into too much of a hole against a good team. One thing that West had trouble dealing with has Stegman on the inside, Valley doesn't have this. If Bricker can get hot early and often, and West plays disiplined for 32 mins (good press and limit turnovers) they could very well win, but this will be a tall task because they, have not done for an entire game, and it is something you must do against good teams. Also look for Travis Perry to get some for playing time at point, and look for a boy named Tyler Austin to have a breakout game soon...

I'm gonna miss tonight and tomorrow against Burg but I"ve seen em twice and they play really well together. Solid defense most of the time and for lack of size, they rebound pretty well.

Sounds like Valley just may be the team to beat this season in the SOC. I guess we'll see after Saturdays game against the Pirates.

I believe the boys from Oak Hill might have something to say about that!

Valley wins 80-51
Now to determine if they are SOC big dogs on the Burg game
