Good Luck to the Bobcats.

I don't know about a 15 point win. Green never plays well down there
I will be happy with a win no matter what the score is.

ND won by 5. They were down by 17 towards the end of the 3rd and outscored Green 24 - 6 in the 4th.
One of the best quarters of basketball I have seen Notre Dame play.

The statement "not knowing how to win " is a complete cop out and BS. They won 16 games the past 2 seasons. They know how to win, they just didn't. The Cat's fell apart in the 4th, couldn't handle full court pressure, which wasn't very intense to begin with anyway. Cat's played defense for 3 quarters and pounded it inside. They stopped going inside in the 4th and took ill advised shots, all one and done. Green needs to work on rebounding, especially on the O side. Not ONE box out all night. ND got 2-3 shots on offense about 80% of the time. They seemed winded on D in the last quarter. I will take nothing away from ND, they played hard the whole game and Hoppy did a great job in making them believe they could win but Green should not have lost that game.

If the coach is talking to his players about this website there are some major problems. Maybe he should have spent that time talking about his press breaker.

jumper, you seem to be a little too defensive. I did not slam the boys or the coach. They are playing better now than they have in the last couple of years defensively. I stand firm on my comments about knowing how to win. I played the game for years and the first time I stepped on the court I KNEW how to win, what it took to win. Sometimes the focus wasn't on winning or giving what it took to win but I knew how to win. Staying focused on the task at hand and not accepting defeat is what they need to learn.
As for my profession, I won't reveal what I do (although I did stay at a Holliday Inn last night ) . I don't want Charlie's job, never asked for his job or opposed him being in his role. Once again, I am not slamming the coach or the players, I just call 'em as I see 'em.

Green played 3 quarters but did not play with ND's intensity in the 4th. ND had a couple seniors start off the 4th quarter with a lot of intensity and the rest of the team responded. ND played with a lot of heart and determination in the 4th especially given how far they were down. It was a great comeback if you were an ND fan and I can only imagine a very big disappointment to lose that kind of a game if you were a Green fan.

Green has a good team with some very good players. I have no doubt they will be a very tough game in Franklin Furnace. My two cents: The Pierce kid is a good athlete --- He needs to shoot the ball more otherwise he is no threat on offense. I hope this last honest comment does not come back to bite us!
