What was the final score in this one? I know NY won big, but the Messenger never listed the final score! They only listed the score at the end of the third quarter!

The Buckeyes led 45-9 at halftime and 62-10 after three quarters.

How does playing a team like this really help your team?

Doesnt really help your team other than filling a hole in the schedule with a team that is close to home. I think that is why some of the teams around here play them.

The Buckeyes had to play OVC. They were scheduled to play Berne Union but there was a scheduling foul up by BU that left the Buckeyes without a 20th opponent two weeks before the season began. OVC was gracious enough to fill that spot allowing the Buckeyes to play a full schedule. NY is thankful to OVC for helping out in this situation.

SHHH... you're taking away another reason for people to rip the NY basketball program.

They just said on the radio that a ref had a heart attack during the game. Anyone have details on this?

Heard about this at the OU game. I think I can speak for everyone in Southeastern Ohio when I say that we are praying for Steve Cox and his family. Anyone have any word on his condition?
