Any thought on this one. I'm going with my dogs by 15.

Is this a triple header? If so I may have to make the trip.

I beleive that it's going to be JV boys at 5 and then Girls Varsity then the Boys Varsity.

I'll guess an Athens sweep.

Wellston does have some good athletes and they give a good effort on defense.....and if they can keep it through the rebounding of the ball and work their offense a little better they can make it a pretty good game.

Athens - A whole bunch

Wellston - Not very many


Athens is pretty much filling time until they play the Transferander Spartans.

Wellston does have more athletic talent than many give them credit for. I will still take Athens by 15.

Athens wins!

WOW!!!! A LOT CLOSER THAN I THOUGHT!!!

Wellston is a lot better then they and more organized then they were earlier in the year. They will win some games.

Athens had four players in double figures led by Matt Witten with 25. Corey Butcher had 16, Frank Valentour 13, and Collin Pfaff 12. Jeff Matteson led Wellston with 16, Ryan Darnell had 14, Tyler King had 12( 4 3's)& Slone Cales had 10 points.

The Athens JV squad defeated Wellston 57-27. Ian Dixon had 13 points for the Bulldogs who got points from 10 players. Jacob Arthur led Wellston with 6 points.

This is more embarrassing than our loss to Trimble. If we're going to win the league this year, a major change in attitude is needed. It's time to transition from puppies to guard dawgs.

Larry what should embarrass you is the fact the size of your school and still you have trouble winning in a league you should dominate.

Saw it on tv. Very competitive. Bulldogs miss Waters. Tope played and should be able to help if healthy. Wellston fought it out till the end, and the Bulldogs did what they had to to win, sometimes the measure of a team on the rise.

Walters is the best Athlete on the team. I wonder why he wasn't starting? Why did he not play against Wellston?

Vikevan - I agree that all bashing needs to die completely on this forum, this is why I responded to Larry Dallas. I do not think that kids or coaches should be bashed behind computer names. Lets all live by this code and this forum would be much nicer to read. Thank You

I agree about the bashing thing, but I gotta tell you, it probably isn't going to stop as there is very little honor among many posters.
