In the 1st game Tate's 29 and Cunningham's 23 dominated the scoring but it was Tate's ability to get to the rim and create, that caused Waterford the most problems. If Parsons continues to knock down shots from beyond the arc and Belpre can get the defensive effort they showed at home against Waterford and at Marietta College against Southern, they could pull off another upset.

Lets go guys ur starting to get there. Hang in there continue to play hard and smart.

No disrespect intended to anyone but Belpre's win over Waterford was not an upset.

Belpre's guards are better athletes than Waterford's. If Belpre again pressures the Wildcat guards, then Belpre can keep them from working the ball inside to Cunningham. Also, Belpre needs to rebound and keep Cunningham from getting any easy put back baskets and keep him from keeping Belpre from any second and 3rd chances on their own end.

Whoever controls the boards wins this game. JMHO.

Or, could we see Waterford try and slow the tempo down like they did against Fort Frye???

WHS gym much larger than Belpres cracker box.
Will be much harder to press & Waterford does not lose many at home.

Don't think the size of the floor is going to make any difference in how Waterfords guards handle the pressure. Belpre's guards will still be able to pressure them into turnovers and if they can keep Cunningham in check and off the boards then the outcome will be the same. Belpre's guards are a little too fast for Waterford and the bigger floor will be to their advantage not Waterfords. Belpre wins again 59 - 51

If I'm not mistaken, the floors are the same size, so I look for Belpre's guards tp eat Waterford's guards up again. I dont really see Belpre being able to keep Cunningham off the boards, they have to hope their press kills Waterford again because if Waterford cant get the ball up the floor then Cunningham isnt a factor on either offense or defense. But like Mister B said...the first game wasnt really an upset...I dont think theres a huge difference in the overall talent levels of these 2 teams.

Just because there are seats on both sides does not mean floor is bigger. Just making sure we understand that. And like eaglepaw said, if it was it would help Belpre even more. I think we'll see a game alot like the last. Home court may have advantage though. Good luck to both.

gameday, i will take Belpre in this game, close to the same outcome as last game. Waterford has no one to stop Tate, if Tate can keep his head. I will take Belpre by 6

With a 15 point win in this game for Waterford it looks like Belpres win just may have been an upset.

It wasn't 25, it was 15. 71-56 was the final. It was a 1 point game at halftime. Waterford scored 21 points in the 3rd and 4th quarters...Waterford pulled away at the end at the line.

Thanks for removing those posts. Being a Belpre Fan I was quit embarrased by some to the remarks. These kids deserve our support and nothing more.
