Depends which Bulldogs show-up. I've heard officiating at Belpre can be just as bad as playing at Vinton County.

Neither team is very good at all. I know Belpre is terrible. Look forward to seeing how this one turns out.

I'm afraid Belpre will win this one. I hope not but I can see them winning by at least 10. Good luck Dogs.

Yes the officiating can be bad there. By the one sided variety. That's exactly why you people need to start hiring either my crew of myself, sister May and son Reel E, or my brother Dewey's crew. We wouldn't cheat any team. It would tarnish our name.

Belpre plays well at home traditionally, also have good guards to handle the Bulldog pressure. Could be a very very good game. Hope Gibby and the boys get it on Nelsonville TV Cable. Props to the Athens TV crew. Knowledgable, Fair, and fun.

Belpre has a fast team with many offensive weapons (not a lot of heighth is the biggest problem). If they control the ball and limit turnovers, they win easily.
Eaglefan 1 - the constant outcoached comments are getting old. Based on the rules I read, coach bashing is not permitted on this forum, so PLEASE stop! It's a negative reflection on Belpre --don't need it!

Coach bashing is in the same category as Referee bashing.
Should be banned on these forums.

He never bashed the coach,he only said the Athens coach would coach better than the Belpre coach. Thats an opinion not a bashing.

Don't know Athens record but they seem to be playing better this year.
They were getting killed in the SEOAL every year lately.
I figure this game is a tossup.

I can have my own opinion, i said Belpre was going to get outcoached, thats my opinion. Belpre does have good guards, they are quick and they do play in your face D. But they have had some problems with turnovers this season. Decision making is the biggest factor to these guards not playing well as of late. The ball needs to get down to Jared Azar more in my opinion. He has improved tremendously from last year. He can dominate down low and that will open things up more for Tate, who has been forcing a lot of shots as of late. Lookin forward to watching this game. GO EAGLES

Matt Witten had 6 treys and 34 points for the Bulldogs. His shooting kept the Bulldogs in the game. Watkins and Azar killed the Dogs in the paint.
