What schools in the Wellston bracket belong to the same conference? I am curious to know if that will play a factor in the voting. I know there are talks about Southern getting the 1 seed, I was wondering how that was even possible with Oak Hill returning everything and being as good as they are.

We know there are 3 SHL schools, 7 SOC schools, and Paint Valley(not sure what conference) at the Valley.

*Last year didnt that help Western get the 1 seed- I thought Manchester beat every SOC school they played last year including Western but still got the 2. Correct me if I am wrong!

Great question. Baller1. If Manchester and Western stay similar in records, I give Western the upper hand for the one seed. There are 6 SOC schools and 3 SHL schools. And usually leagues protect each other. Not always true, but it can make the swing vote.

Western is definitely the class of the Valley sectional, manchester may be the only team that could give them trouble and they will probable be in the lower half of the draw look for Western and Manchester to go to district out of these games. East has not really beaten anyone with a really good record. But they have won the games they are suppose to win so you have to give them credit for that.

The top 4 seeds will be

1.Western 7-3
2.Manchester 7-5
3.Fairfield 7-3
4.East 7-3

With East and Fairfield could be switched....

If your going to say East really hasn't beat anyone than you can say the same thing for Western as well they have beaten

Green (1-7) twice
@ New Boston (0-10)
@ Eastern B. (7-4)
Notre Dame (3-7)
Symmes Valley (5-6)
Clay (3-7)

only one team with a winning record

and Fairfield isn't much better with their wins....

@ Paint Valley (1-9)
@ Ripley (4-6)
@ Whiteoak (3-8)
Miami Trace (1-11)
@ Court House (7-4)
Lynchburg Clay (1-8)
@ Fayetteville (5-5)

If you go by who beat who then Manchester is the clear cut number 1 seed with Western 2 East 3 and Fairfield 4

WTIGER80- I have to disagree with your statement in that Western is the class of the Valley sectional. One of their wins is against a team with a winning record, other than that, they have only beaten teams with losing records. I still think they need to prove themself. If you know your league is going to be weak, go out and schedule great teams to make yourself better! I also think Manchester needs to come up with some wins against some more great teams!

Western's non league schedule

Valley 9-3
Eastern Pike 7-4(holiday tourney)
Piketon 10-2
Huntington??????
Manchester 7-5
Paint Valley???

Other than Paint Valley......That looks like a pretty tough non league schedule to me.
