I was so looking foward to our annual trip to the "Fisher-Price" arena. I guess I will have to curb my enthusiasm until Feb. 4th. :)

ACM,
Thanks. You know when SJ plays NB at home in the future, they should play at St. Joe's gym.Between the two combined it might make one regulation court :) Adam Cox told me once when he was in Jr. High at NB they called our gym "The Dungeon" and it was the toughest place to win .That made me smile since I was the head coach at that time. As far as your gym, I guess I would be more excited about coming down if SJ won there more than once or twice a decade :)

if u really want to compare st.joes gym to nb's..ur insane..nb's gym is in much better shape than st.joes. and it is one of the toughest gyms to play in..let alone get a win in!!

WELCOME 2 THE DEN!!

I believe he is comparing the gym at St. Joe High School where the girls and JH boys play, not where the SJ varsity boys play. The gym at St. Joe and New Boston are very similar as far as the size of the playing surface.

I wouldn't think the game would be played tonight. There was no school at New Boston. The bus parking signs were not out as I came by the school.

In talking about St.Joe's gym, it is quite possible that "Varsity" has never been to the Ironton Junior High gym down near Hanging Rock. I have seen many games in the Dungeon, be it volleyball or boys and girls basketball. It has to be the worst gym around to watch a game.
