How good is this Hillsboro group? I haven't seen them yet.

Carroll boy from Peebles plays for Hillsboro and from what I've read, he's really been playing well. Not sure they have enough to handle NA's big guys but hopefully it'll be a great game. Wish Peebles wasn't playing that night, would love to get the opportunity to see him play and maybe take down our rival!

Hillsboro may just be the team that will upset NA. Carroll is the one to watch in this game !

Unger's going to be the factor in this one..I think he'll be TOO much for Hillsboro to handle..I think he's around 10 points or somthing away from 1000...Good luck to him! I don't think he would take a loss on this night...
Plus, the Devils are at home in this one and are a VERY tough team to beat on their home floor...

Game is cancelled due to weather. I don't know if there will be a make up game.

Game is back on for the time being. They are going to wait and see what happens before cancelling.

Hillsboro @ North Adams has been cancelled!!!!!!!

Surely both schools will want to reschedule. Not a league game but playing a good competitive team close to tourney time would be a benefit for both.

According to the latest email they are going to reschedule. That may be subject to change as there are several make up games to be rescheduled now.

I've heard also that the game will be rescheduled. Don't know a date yet.

How much snow did Adams County get today? Ross county is completely dry.

Adams Co had 2-3 inches of snow at 4:00 and still coming pretty hard.

here in Peebles, there is a good 3.5-4 inches of "fresh" snow.

7" in Winchester

Winchester got 7 inches???? I teach at a school 10 miles directly north of Winchester and at 2:15 it began snowing and at 2:35 right after dismissal the principal told everyone to go home......we had absolutely nothing all tehway home to Jackson county...and absolutely nothing here.

Another example, Peebles got between 6-7 inches overall and the radio says Sinking Spring, which is 9 miles up the road got about an inch!

I'm not seeing 6-7 where I am at in Peebles...but who could tell with all the snow that we still had left on the ground

why doesn't peebles and hillsboro play each other?

Not in the same league. Peebles and Hillsboro have never really played each other that I can remember. With the way the SHL is now, having to play all the schools in your division twice plus the Adams County Holiday tourament, neither am I a fan of, Adams County schools only get about 3 or 4 non league games. Crazy.

Hillsboro plays Whiteoak, Lynchburg, Fairfield, North Adams just about every year and Eastern Brown some years I think.
