If we can keep the ball from osbourne we can limit everything they do. he is the key to there offense. like Rosemount Rebel said, limit turnovers and make bunnies, they should pull it off.

They tried that last time, holding Osborne to 7 points and the Eagles still won by around 20. I doubt he has two bad games in a row. I can see the talent there for clay the last time I seen them play. I think they are just to young right now and will get better next year.

First of all J-Bird who says scoring only 7 points is a bad game---I guess if most people only look at points that may be the case----but lets not forget steals, assists, rebounds etc etc etc and absolutely doing everything you can possibly do to win games. I'm referring to the newspaper article (1/25) with quotes from Coach Fitch regarding that game in particular---apparently he didn't think Osborne had a bad game that night either. 7 players involved in scoring that game.

But you are right----he is unlikely to have (how I like to phrase) is 2 low scoring games in a row.

Hope the Eagles aren't too rusty from not playing in over a week.

EASTERN WILL WIN THIS ONE EASILY!

I though Osborne did have a good all around game even though his scoring was high

first of all what i meant by shutting down osbourne was sum1 to face guard him and keep him from getting the ball. i was at the eastern clay game. he sets up anything and everything they do. he is the KEY. isolate him and we can pull this off

I should have rephrased the way I put it. Osborne didn't really have a bad game, just a low scoring game. Not sure how many assists, steals and rebounds he had, but I know he helped the team out a lot in those catagories that game.

Okay--The Osborne kid is good---aggressive---but there are no stars on the Eastern team. They are very balanced and are well coached. They also play TEAM ball. I think Clay can only beat them if they embrace the team concept of play and have their best game of the season. I am not from either school but have watched them both so let's be realistic. I'll go with the Eastern eagles 65 to Clay 48.

Clay takes this 55-50.
Both teams played very well but down the stretch eastern started settling for fade away jumpers and clay continued to produce easy buckets. Not sure on individual scoring but we can usually count on ignert for that.
