... the Purple of Coach Myers played their first full game and best 4 quarters of basketball on the season in beating a very game Lancaster squad 51-48 ... a very entertaining game that saw Logan drop 5 treys in the opening quarter while the Gales almost matched the total with 4 of their own as the first finished Logan 19 Lancaster 16 ... Lancaster picked up their defense in the 2nd holding Logan to 8 points while Lancaster continued their 3 ball assault as Cory Camarata hit 2 threes to stake the Gales to a one point 28-27 lead at intermission ... both teams opened the 3rd quarter with stingy defenses as neither team reached double figures scoring in the period as Lancaster took a 36-34 lead into the final quarter ... Logan put the ball in Patrick Angles hands on every possession in the 4th as the junior didn't disappoint picking up 8 points in the period; Angle also distributed the ball as he hit Jeff Dietz to open the quarter for a BIG three from the corner (Dietz's 2nd of the game) ... Lancaster kept pace as both Blanton and Camarata hit threes down the stretch ... Logan entered the final 10 seconds with Angle at the line - PA hit the first, missed the second ... Lancaster had 3 point blank shots under the basket - each a contested shot ... each a miss as Patrick Angle came out with a board and a trip to the foul line with 1.3 seconds to go ... Logan 51 Lancaster 48 a final ...
