Re: Southern @ Symmes Valley 2/3
Tibbs would have to have a monster game for Symmes Valley to pull off the upset but I don't see it happening.........Southern by 10 in this one!

This is repulsive. Why would we play SLIME VALLEY? Those kids all have one leg shorter than the other and two left hands. They cant dribble or shoot. Our schedule is getting more and more reminiscent of South Gallia's.
PEE-YEW!
PEE-YEW!

chuck taylor (Yes, I put your name in lower case because after those comments degrading another school you don't deserve to have your name spelled correctly) You should be banned from posting on this in the future.
Shame on you!

HEY CHUCK....... If I were a mean person, this is what I'd say...
If you want to see some slime, look in the mirror.
But, since I'm not a mean person, I'll just type it instead.

Re: Southern @ Symmes Valley 2/3
Tibbs goes for 45 points and the Vikings upset Southern and potentially knock Southern out of the #2 seed in the upcoming drawing resulting in Eastern Pike getting the 2 seed (not likely, but anything is possible).

As I remember our kids with one leg longer than the other and two left hands have never really ever had a hard time TROMPING the Tornadoes in football and many other sports. I guess our third string football team scoring touchdowns against your first team with our "handicaps" is quite amazing to you.
By the way, Southern is the only place I've been where people in the stands have thrown ice, cans and other items onto the field at players, cheerleaders and band members. If you want to see some slime, look in the mirror.

Chuck taylor is an idiot, but I do remember Southern beating Symmes Valley in football a few years back, and I know Southern has beat them in baseball. With that said, Symmes has the better record for sure, no arguements here, but this game will be a win for the Tornadoes. Around a 12-18 point win sounds good to me.

I would be careful after the game on the way back from Symmes Valley. They are calling for snow and you havent seen hills and backcountry until you have drove there.

Re: Southern @ Symmes Valley 2/3
The game has been called off due to the potential bad weather.
By the way, I know Southern has beaten Symmes Valley several times in various sports and Symmes Valley has also beaten Southern several times. I don't know who will win this game. Every school has ups and downs. Southern, Symmes Valley, South Gallia, Eastern, and others are all almost identical in size and any could possibly beat the other in any sport in any given year. That's why games are played, to see who will win and to hopefully have some fun along the way.

chuck taylor is not from Southern. He gets on here and stirs things up all the time. If you notice when Trimble does not have school chucky is not on here. So Symmes Valley fans before you get all bent out shape at Southern you should know this is some kid from another school. Last week when there was no school we didn't hear from chucky and dog. It was kind of nice.

Sorry to any Southern Fan for anything that I may have posted earlier. I have edited my posts after hearing the news about Chuck's location.
Re: Southern @ Symmes Valley 2/3
No hard feelings. I doubt if this game will be made up. Can anyone tell us if it will be played or just scraped.

Getting "snow-shy".
I have to ask, when did Southern fans through ice and crap at SV's contingent? I've not been in Southern's district forever, but in another Co school, never ever thought they were the type to do that, they had their "yellers" but so did my school. Don't judge a whole district by the actions of a few pinheads.

We had a blizzard at about 8:00 tonight here in Lawrence County so calling it off was a smart idea. I don't think anyone is "snow shy" I feel for the Galia fans driving back from Ironton tonight. Even 52 is covered right now and the salt waon't work in the really cold temperatures tonight.
Re: Southern @ Symmes Valley 2/3
Rio Grande is cold, but snow free. I think this snow is just spotty. So all in all I say it was a good idea calling off the game.

Re: Southern @ Symmes Valley 2/3
Hey, Fan-o-Southern, it was somewhere around 1992. SV football game at Southern. Southern's Superintendent sent a letter to SV to apologize for the actions. I'm not trying to characterize everyone from a school by the actions of a few idiots though. I think we have a few everywhere.
By the way, we have a little over an inch of snow here in SV and has looked like a blizzard at times. Salt has been put on 141 several times, but nothings melting. I definitely wouldn't want to be driving now and I drive these roads everyday. I think it's good that you guys don't have to deal with it.

It was a good idea to call the game off. The kids safety comes first. Didn't this happen last year too.
