This game is being played tonight in Mercerville with a 6 o'clock start. This is the next to last game that the current gym (a.k.a. Mercerville Garden) will host before being brought down because of the new SG.
This will be a big game for the Rebels tournament seeding on Sunday, as I see this as a must win game to even have a shot at a 5-7 seed come Sunday, depending on what happens to other teams tonight. Looks like some interesting games going on involving the DIV Wellston Sectional teams as well tonight.
Looking at MaxPreps, Buffalo has a 6-6 record with a loss coming from Waterford 48-39 @ Waterford. Looks like the Bison gave Waterford a tough game. Every game SG and Buffalo has played have been good and tight games. Lets just hope the Rebels play their "A" game tonight and get this win!
Thoughts?

Good win for SG tonight, especially when most of the people in our Sectional lost. Rebels showed how much they have grown up in the past few weeks starting the game out being down 18-9 early in the first and bringing it back to be down by two at the half. Then coming out the second half scoring fourty points and winning by fourteen.
The group this year has made the most progress during the season than any other SG team I have ever seen. The difference between this team at the beginning of the year and now is like night and day. If we would have played Buffalo at the beginning of the year my guess we would have got beat by around 15. This team is playing their best ball of the year at the right time of the year.

I would also like to say the Marshall band at the game sounded awesome tonight. Definatley got the guys ready to play tonight and they enjoyed it alot. I would like to see them rock the Mercerville Garden some more.

Very good win for the Rebels aginst a good Buffalo team, they played a pretty solid game altogether and should make some noise in the tourney if they play like they did tonight

thanks. it was a lot of fun coming and playing for you all. SG has a good thing with Mrs. Thompson, and she is working hard to bring the band back to SGHS.
the Rebs did a great job tonight, started off a little slow in the first quarter, but once they found their rhythm, they started playing together really well. way to go Rebels!

Good win Rebels.
Did anyone other than me think the refs allowed the game to get a little rough?
I think I saw like 14 fouls on one trip up the floor. (or at lease a lot..)
They were not one sided ,they didn't seem to call it either way.
Just want to know if anyone else seen it that way.
Keep up the hustle Rebels!!!!

What is SG's record right now? What kind of seed will SG be looking at going into the sectional?
Sounds like a good win for the Rebels...
