I think they will win them all, but I dont think Ripley , Fayetville , or Fairfield are going to be pushovers especially since we are at fayetville.

Looks like Peebles should enter tourney play 17-3,but who knows, anything can happen in league games? Fairfield could be a tough one.

I wouldn't be surprised if some starters sat out the fairfield game, as it's 2 games before the first tournament game.

The Fairfield game is the most intriguing of the group after last week's clash. It will be interesting to see how Coach Lawhorn handles the game.

It will be even more interesting to see how Coach Carson conducts himself and allows his team to carry themselves. I don't think we'll see what we saw on Friday night at Fairfield.

Woudnt hold my breath, waiting to see what Coach Carson has learned.I cant see any change from this year compared to last year.I thought last year was bad,but what i saw there Friday night is about as bad as it can get.If his attitude changes any,ill be shocked.Pretty disturbing actually.

I'm sure he's heard and read how everyone feels about him. I'm wondering if he'll have the nerve to act like he did last time we played them. It will be interesting to see.

I think Peebles has to play hard this week especially in league games. If they were to lose these games, then they would give Manchester the league title. They need to win Friday and Sat both to lock it up.

I think that is the reason they rested Seaman last night.Peebles will be fine, they are starters to run on all cylinders now.

This is my ignorance showing here:
If the tournament seeding is already drawn up, what is the benefit to winning the league? Is there prize money?

To follow jchitwood's lead I also ask Indian fans what winning the SHL small school division does for you?
I'm guessing that its just a step in the process and doesn't carry much accolades. I know this was discussed in before on here but I would like to see the SHL do away with the divisions and just play each other once for league purposes. Any thoughts or opinions for or against that proposal?

Yea, 40 was nice but how about 14 rebounds 19 points and 12 dimes that TA had.

are you guys serious? Why would you not want to win your league? Is that not one of the goals teams work for? While I agree the division thing is crazy and prevents teams from playing more teams outside their league the fact of the matter is that's how it is. Should we just quit now and say oh well, who wants to win their league? Evidently I'm missing something. Jchitwood, I thought you were a basketball fan.

No, I think winning the league is cool, a great goal, and something to strive for...I just literally didn't know if winning it meant anything besides being "League Champs." I guess not.

Bragging rights!! How long has it been since Peebles won the SHL League? It's a sign of the turning of the tide.

Actually, I'm sure he doesn't read this nonsense and doesn't care what nay-sayers type.

dmills,
Thanks for the info and you're right, TA had one heck of a game so did TC and Nate. I didn't have any stats info other than Justice or I would have posted it too. They are really coming together as a team. Its a great time to be a Peebles fan.
