Jackson 63 Unioto 46

Nice game by the entire Ironmen team. Down by 2 at half but Coach Jordan seemed to be toying with them and just blew them out in the 2nd half. Sr Merlin Miller with a 15 point performance on senior night was special and he played very good defense on the 6'11 Kinsey. Dylan Newsome continues his tremendous year with a 24 (22 in the 2nd half) point game and Morgan Dobbins opened up hot with 9 in the first qtr and around 16 for the game.
The JV team played Wellston and won something like 49-18......and I think all 12 players scored.

This was a make up from a while back.....During the ice storm,one of the buses could not make it to the game(varsity team).The Freshman and JV teams got to play that evening but the Varsity bus could not make it.Wellston stepped in so there would be a full night of basketball.

Congrats to the Ironmen. I really like what they've have done in the second half of the season.

Great job by coach Jordan this year came to Jackson late and turned a program in the right direction. Ended 5-5 @ home, their "09" record jan & feb was 5-8 pretty respectable. Good luck in the tourney I think we will surprise a few teams just like the girls are doing.
