I agree with you about Unger as POY, but I thought they don't award a POY in the Southern Hills League.

they don't. I'd have to add Tyler Arnold to the list.

Not sure if things are the same now but years ago it was the top 15 vote-getters and no POY. Would be very difficult for peebles to get 3 without superior stats to any 3 North Adams players although I think Arnold is more than deserving and is one of the best 15 league players. For most teams it is not smart for the coach to nominate more than 2 players (unless the team/players are completely dominate). Example would be if a team had 5 players who averaged between 10-13 points and the coach nominates all 5 (no coach would be this stupid). What could happen is that coaches would only vote for 2 of the 5 players and in the process dilluting the votes for all 5 and making it a giant question mark as to who makes all-league.

the problem with picking all league teams is that they are based too much on offensive stats. defense, rebounding, hustle plays, taking charges, and assists should be considered as well.

Those are impressive numbers for Tyler Arnold and it would be hard not to nominate him and he should get enough votes to make it along with Seaman and Justice.

I agree with Tyler Arnold deserving all league this year in the SHL. He is definitely one of the top 15 players and is almost averaging a double-double.

Tyler Arnold has had one heck of a senior season and I agree he deserves the recognition. I was amazed at the numbers all of the 8 boys listed from NA and Peebles had put up this year. Lots of talent in the SHL! Let's hope it shows in the tourney. I'd love to see our SHL teams dominate. You never know. I picked Eastern as a sleeper over Adena. Stranger things have happened. Remember Seaman hitting one at the buzzer last year to win the Sectional over Adena!!!!!!!!

Good luck to all of the SHL teams!!

Blake Blevins is not averaging a double double, he was about 5 games ago, but not now, he does deserve to be on there, but I don't think he'll make it there are too many other players out there that are better than him. I would have to say if that kid works all summer he might just be the next best player in the league next yr.
