I didn't make it to the game tonight as it was a varsity only contest but evidently a lot of Peebles fans made the long trip to Fayetteville. What were some of the details of the game? The offensive numbers, and the defensive numbers, Peebles has been putting up are very impressive. In the last few games they've scored 98, 95, 83, and 89 points and their fast break is lethal.
Andrew Seaman gets it and goes and Nathan Stephens is finishing on a lot of the breaks. Blake Justice is shooting lights out and I saw on another post where he only needs 24 points to get to 1000. That's not too shabby for a sophomore, but I bet Fairfield will do everything possible to keep him from getting it against them on Monday night in a make up game at Peebles.
The two Tylers are playing some super basketball. Arnold had a triple double last week against Green and is really doing a great job on the boards and knocking down some shots when it's there. Caudill is getting 12-14 points a game it seems every night and plays some great post defense as he is often out-sized and out-weighed but doesn't back down an inch. The bench is going to continue to keep playing well and they've had some opportunities here in the last 1/2 the season to get some work in.
If the Indians keep playing this way, they are going to be hard to knock off in the tournament as I've seen a huge improvement in all facets of the game this year. Their team defense is really improving too.
