Former SEOAL foes Athens (6 seed) and Warren (11-9, 3 seed) face off in the final sectional matchup at Logan's new high school on Friday, 2/27 at 8:30 PM.
Warren is riding a three game win streak (very streaky team) and comes off a rather workmanlike win against Gallia Academy in the SEOAL DOC.
Athens at 10-10, finishing the season on a four game win streak.

Logan High School is located on Route 328. Coming from the south, take the 328 exit off of 33. Then turn left at the top of the ramp. School is 1/4 mile or so from the ramp. From the north, take 328 ramp and then turn right. The building is very nice and the gym is sweet.

I'll take Warren and the 25 points.
Did you have a dollar amount in mind or are you afraid to back it up with some real cash or something!!

Whoa, TT, dont let the team hear you say that!
I dont really think Athens will be that much of a struggle for Big Blue, tho, i mean, they left the SEOAL for a reason.
Warren by 10, 15, to the Convo we go.

I trust that the players know that this is the most important game of the year, and will by no means be an easy win. When you are playing for a chance to cut down some nets, you can bet that the team you're playing against will be playing with all the fire and tenacity they have. So hopefully we're prepared to take Athens' best shot on Friday. if not, Athens plays in the Convo and Warrens sent home with their worst defeat in three years. But, i have tons confidence in the blue and white to return to districts this year.

hebb hasta have a great night, hate to say it, warren rises and falls with his play
fed hoc game: hebb on fire, team wins big
marietta games: hebb not on fire, team doesnt win
fivecoait and the rest can play like gangbusters, but when hebb's game isnt on (and thats points, rebs, dishing, and good D), warren is a different (less effective) team

On the contrary!!! There is not ONE Warrior who needs to have a great night... instead, about 8 players who need to play their ROLES! Nothing great, just their ROLE - allowing the game to come to them!!!
Maysville game... Chilli game... Our best 2 wins this year... note the defensive intensity, domination of boards, and sharing of the basketball... real simple for the Warriors - TEAM!!!

Sounds like Warren has alot of identity questions on who's role is who's. If this player doesn't play well then we are done is not a good scenario. Team ball is the only way to make it to the Convo. Coach Maddox would have it no other way. What is going on in Vincent???????????

I don't think you can say that it is any one players performance that can cause you to win or lose. Sure it helps when Hebb or any other plays well but Hebb was not the only player to not have a good night against Marietta in the second game and there were a few players out in the first game. If athens is anything like they were before they left the SEOAL Warren should have no trouble beating them.

Wow, did an etta kid just post something nic....
never mind.
Warriors win, lose, as a team, nothing will be different friday nite.
I'm with warriiorfan--the best two wins all year were good team efforts, great D, and, ironically, low scoring affairs. if warren can crash the boards (both ends), play loose and plain ole basketball, sky's the limit. should be a good game to watch.
