Predictions?

Waterford and then everyone else. They will be able to go 12 deep, and not lose much. The battle for second will be wide open between Belpre, Miller, Southern, and Wahama. Very entertaining and competitive league, but I think everyone is looking up to the Wildcats.

The question is, where will Howie be coaching?

Well that's good to hear. I would hate for people to start saying he's chasing talent again.

Howie does chase talent but thats just Howie. He wants wins and nobody can blame him for leaving anyway because of the old Eastern AD. Heard nothing but bad, no horrible things about her. If not for her Eastern would have kept Howie and Dave Tennant who was an excellent football coach who made something out of nothing in his two years back in '10 and '11 seasons.

The Portsmouth Trojans open their season vs. Waterford at Portsmouth HS in the Shawnee State Classic in early December. The Trojans should field a good starting 5 but without much size (SR Kendal Reynolds 6-3, and everyone else under that).

Waterford will run the league with that tough roster they have but look for Southern to dominate the rest of the league with everyone coming back. Jordan Welch will lead Waterford and Tylar Blevins will lead the tornadoes. Will be a good match up between those 2

Maybe your right about Southern but I just don't see it. If they win 10 games then this is without a doubt the weakest the league has ever been. Its Waterford and then everybody else.

Belpre class of 2019 is 1-5 against eastern since 7th grade. (7th-Freshmanyear)

When you have the class of 2019 and 2020 together they will be tough
The 2020 class went 33-3 in Jr high and Never lost to eastern

Wahama reportedly has kids being recruited by Kentucky, UNC, and Duke.

You definitely can't count out a Howie coached team!!

Eastern and Belpre both roll out the balls today. So they will get a little jump on the three that made the playoffs. Maybe they can get out and see some good football this weekend too.
