I heard that west coach Jason Smith quit does any body know if this is true?

If so, that means that the kids and parents are in control of things on the West Side.

This is why West is always going to be West!!!

I agree, who in their right mind would want this job now? ( this will be 5 coaches in 5 or 6 years) Most of them have quit for the very same reason.

If this is indeed true, then it is a shame. The West administration better figure out if they want to have basketball or not (joking), because with their turnover of coaches they will struggle for many years to come.

I bet coach Smith will have plenty of kids come out for the team next year. The 9th graders that played on the varsity this year will push many of the older kids for stating positions. These kids seem to have a good attitiude and don't complain about playing time. A good attitude is the key to success. Complaining and whining get you nowhere.

i agree it hurts having a different coach every year or so. need a coach that will be there awhile and everyone needs to adapt to the coach and quit trying to have it your way it should be the coachs way or the highway

I'm really looking forward to seeing how these young senators develop. We need to allow Smith atleast 4 or 5 years to get his system in place, the first set of freshman who go 4 yrs in his system.. will be his kids, right now its all learning.
