I went on highschoolsports.net to get the NY Basketball Schedule. It is only listing 19 regular season games and 1 scrimmage, so I don't think this is the complete schedule. Anyone have the missing scrimmage and varsity games?

I think the Trimble game is at the Convo. Are they only playing them once this year? Are they not playing Miller this year either?

NY should be one of the teams to beat in the TVC-O shouldn't they?

Sorry fans dont see much change here. Same old coaching style same old result. NY must be happy to finish where they do.

NY should be a force to be reckoned with. I am going to keem my comments to myself on the coach and coaching style. I'm sure it will be tough throughout the season, however, after all the summer antics and chaos, we have what we have, and I just want what is best for the boys. That being said, should be at least 14 wins. We shall see.

Talent = 14 wins, what will actually happen on the court will be at least 1/2 of that is not worse, which is horrible considering the talent and kids NY have. ALL the kids on the team are GREAT kids. I wish them all of the best.

If their win column does not sport double digits how many board meetings will it take for the coach to retain his job? At last count it took 3 board meetings, 3 sets of coaching interviews (with different coaches), and multiple pleading sessions with board members.

With one of the best all around players in the league (6-foot-5 Daniel Kline) - Nelsonville-York has a chance to win 15 games easy ... When you throw in 6'5 Kyle Moore, 6'5 Alex swingle and 6'2 Kyle Freer - one has to think the Buckeyes can contend for a possible TVC-Ohio title ... A second guard has to be established to play alongside Cox - or teams will just continue to press Nelsonville-York, which really seemed to be its downfall last season ... Daniel is a really, really good player - but he would be even better if he played closer to the basket sometimes - far too many times I seen him play more of a shooting guard position and was never around the hoop ... How many more points would he have scored shooting from 5 feet out as opposed to 20 or how many rebound put-backs would he have had? My guess is he would have scored at least 8-10 more points per game. When you lose games 55-48 continously, those 8-10 points could be a big difference maker.

Alec Swingle is not at Nelsonville. Anyone know what went on there? 6' 5" players with basketball skills are hard to come by!!!!!

He's not at Nelsonville from what I've been told. Many schools around here sure could've used him.

I saw on trivalleyconference.com that NY does play trimble twice. Im guess that is correct and gives NY their 20 games.

That is a pretty nice picture of the varsity on the bulldozer on Trivalleyconference.com. It is interesting they chose to use the slogan "bulldoze" their opponents.

Should be an enjoyable scrimmage at Warren tonight....looks like NY has some size to go along with their athletes.....the Warriors have been rotating 10 players and have been looking good in their early scrimmages but it will be getting more serious as it get closer to the season opener....5:30 start time!

I think it says "paving the way to victory" doesn't it?

Man indianabuck give NY a break, not sure why you are constantly on NY but I am sure your relatives here wouldn't appreciate it.
NY looked good against Southern in their scrimmage. Seemed to have the players in the right places. Looks like Kline is playing the 3 or 4 spot which I agree with 93 is where he should be. But, it's nice to know he can pop out if he needs to. Again, Freer is playing tough. He really impresses me. Certainly nothing flashy about the kid but definitely a workhorse. Doesn't miss much and this is a kid who didn't play until his freshmen year. I'd have to ask his mom but I doubt that he ever thought he'd play ball, he was a wrestler.

How about Kyle Moore buckfan84? Is he playing the center position? What about Casey, he look any bigger? lol
(That's not a knock on Casey - I've always kind of poked fun at him) ... I think he's a great kid, he hustles all the time, shoots well from the outside ... I just want to see him maybe grow and inch or two above his sister ...
