That's great, but no one from the SOC II league champions Oak Hill will be there so it's not the true league All Star showcase. I still don't understand why they can't wait until the Tuesday after the state tourney is over.

None of the Oak Hill boys get to play in the game, but Emilee Metzler from Oak Hill will be playing for the girls to represent Oak Hill. The boys and girls for Oak Hill will both be there to receive the Gold Ball Trophy and individual awards also.

I believe the OHSAA states no more than five at a time.
What moron broke this rule?

Only 6 players scored for the SOC 2 boys? How did that happen - did they only have 7 or 8 total players? The underclassman must have dominated the SOC 2 this year.

Well, you have to take into account that none of Oak Hills seniors were there and Wheelersburg had no seniors this season, so that only leaves West, Minford, Valley, Waverly and Northwest to choose from.

Hey guys, i was told that if you were not picked on the SOC all stars teams or honorable mention, even though your a SR. that your not eligible to play in the game. i always thought that all SR. were eligiable, but was told differnt, and yes the SOC II only had 6 players. Back when I played, it was honor to be picked and all the boys played, didn't make any difference about baseball or track.

If that is truly the SOC policy I would expect that the benches are always empty at these all-star games. They need to change this and let the coaches and league executives decide who plays in the game.
