Belpre has Tate, Waderker, and Watkins returning as starters and also Parsons who played a major role last season. They also return Slattery and Rashawn Miller who should play major roles next season.

Belpre will struggle with rebounding, but should be able to run and press every team. They will be small, but quick. This team could be good, bu the last 2 teams could of been good also. Belpre is not going to be good until Plummer leaves.

what is the story on plummer? when ewing was hired at meigs but he and plummer where the only ones to apply, talk about between a rock and a hard place, and neither seems to be winning fans. what is the story/ belpre has seemed to have lots of talent but no motivation. that seems to be that way in all their sports. hey i'm an outsider so i do not have an ax. just seems strange for a town next to parkersburg to not be into sports when they are leaders in wv every year.

I can promise you that Ewing and Plummer were not the only two coaches to apply for the Belpre job. All the Belpre BOE had to do was make a few calls and we could of had a few big name coaches in the area...but they took the easy way out.

Sounds like they should have stuck with Chris Stout a couple years back.

so what's his story? i tell you he has to be better than ewing if only because belpre had a better record than meigs. believe me ewing ran off about 1/2 of meigs' varsity. i would trade him for a 6 pack of old style and a ho.

so plummer cannot have been worse, and yes i can say he and bennie where the only one's to apply. looking back, meigs should've just dropped basketball for a few years. i hate to sound like charlie brown but, " doesn't anyone know what sports is all about"?

He didnt have a choice to stay at Belpre.
and Mister B...you and I have had conversations about what coaches COULD HAVE been available...so I think you may have an idea as to what he's talking about....assuming he knows what hes talkin about haha

Yes, he did have a choice, he chose not too.
Also, lets see what eaglefan1 knows or doesn't know.

Belpre best bet to be the coach would be Dave Parsons

.... Chad Williams talks about his past
Palmer doesnt know what he is doing

well i'll tell you dan, anyone this side of stevie wonder could see that you don't;
1. run off possibly your best player( eric)
2. play your 2nd best, who is nursing an injury, in meaningless minutes and get him hurt.
3. run off your best shooter because he can't make it to practice on time, when you don't either.
4. send your best defender and tallest player( by at least 4") packing because he isn't as quick as your fastest player.
any one not named moe, larry or curly would know better so i'm betting plummer, who's probably not brain damaged, would do at least as well.

No he absoultely did not. Trust me I know exactly what happened and what the puppet master, joke of a super pulled just as well as you do
Annd from what I saw Meigs was much improved this year...just because your kid didnt get along with him or whatever happened doesnt make Coach Ewing an idiot.

this year meigs had talent lots, some that stayed and some that left. next year they don't have as much. it does not have to do with my kid. he did not contribute, and would not have. we lose our heart, clay. strenth, gabe. with no one to replace that. if ewing does 500 or better, then i will be wrong. hey it happens every few years. if you think this team, if it had stayed together would have had a winning % of 33, then believe it. there are about 100 people on here who agree with me. sorry you are not 1. too bad, people disagree.

All the Belpre BOE had to do was make a few calls and we could of brought in coaches like Joe Crislip, Joe Garrett was willing to come back, they could of hired Marietta College's old coach Larry Foote. I know what im talking about.
