Out of these two D4 state champ teams who would come out on top? My guess is the jeeps over the oaks by 40 pts.

LOL...40 points?? Obviously I'm biased, but I think Aldridge would be the ultimate difference in this one. Probably the best big man to come out of southern Ohio in years. I'd also take Waginger over Borden, but the teams were equal at the other positions. Regardless, it's cool that SOC II has two championship teams in recent years. And it's looking like Wheelersburg will be making a run the next two years as well.*

I highly doubt that. Oak Hill did play very good defense last season.
South Webster would eventually wear them down and win going away, but the Oaks would stay close for awhile.
Way too much fire power on that South Webster team, plus the South Webster defense was smothering.
It will be a LONG time before another DIV team from the Southern Ohio area comes around that was as good as that team. If ever.

I think the 2004 final 4 team from SW would beat the oaks by 10-15.

The 2006 Jeeps would win by as many as Kreisher wants to beat Norm by LOL

South Webster would win this game.......the Jeeps had more offensive firepower to go along with Brigham Waginger's great perimeter defense.

I think there are alot of teams in the past that didn't even win the state title that would kill Oak Hill

would either team have made it if it weren't for transfers? i doubt it. also, oak hill should have been d3 with the addition of so many transfers.

Webster would've had the better shot without transfers the only transfer was Waginger other than that they were all from webster

South Webster's '06 team were one of the favorites to win the 2006 Championship before Brigham moved in. He definitely made the team better and increased the odds of winning the title, but the 2006 team had the same basic team from final four team from 2004.

With that being said, 2006 South Webster would handle 2009 Oak Hill with relative ease. They had one of the best defensive teams I have ever seen in Southeastern Ohio. I have yet to see any other team with that kind of desire on the defensive end. It was a joy to watch!

I hope everybody is happy now. I heard Coach Persin just sent the State Champ Trophy back to the OHSAA.
