Mark your schedules for this one on Saturday January 2nd:

At Marietta College:

10:00: Caldwell vs. Wood County Christian
12:00: Frontier vs. Parkersburg Catholic
2:00: Belpre vs. St. Mary's
4:00: Fort Frye vs. Williamstown
6:00: Warren vs. Point Pleasant
8:00: Parkersburg vs. Marietta

J.V. games will be played at Marietta High school and freshman games at Marietta Middle School. Times will be staggered to allow fans to catch all 3 games from their schools if they desire.

We are very pleased and thankful to be able to put this on for a wonderful Saturday of 'Holiday" basketball for the hoop junkies of the Mid Ohio Valley.

I remember going a couple years ago and thinking Athens vs South would have been a good game. I think Athens played River and South played Fort Frye

Everything is set and in order for a great day of basketball. Six Ohio schools vs. Six West Virginia schools in and all day ticket at Marietta College. Tickets are also good for 6 J.V. games at Marietta High school and freshman and middle school games at Marietta Middle school. Come early and stay late and enjoy a great day of basketball.

Not sure if this a problem for more schools or just Warren but is there a link anywhere online to find an accurate schedule for Warren??? I know the MaxPreps site for them is wrong and with MariettaTimes.com charging a fee for anyone to access, there really is no real source for Southeastern Ohio basketball fans who don't get the home-delivered newspaper to stay in touch with the happenings. Thanks for any help!

OHSAA.org has it if you click under School Schedules. You have to go through month by month to get it, but it's the only place I was able to find one for them. The school's website doesn't have anything for Athletics at all. http://schedules.myohsaa.org/SchoolHome/1618/Month

We are also happy to have the men's and women's basketball teams from Marietta College to be doing the concessions at Ban Johnson Filed House. It is very nice for Marietta College to allow us to use the facility and great to be able to help the college teams as well. Come and enjoy the games.

Just to clarify: There was a mistake on the posted schedule. Game 19 is at 7:00 p.m. at Marietta Middle school and is Belpre freshman vs. St. Mary's freshman, not Marietta as the Tiger play Parkersburg earlier in the day. Sorry for the mistake. Enjoy the games !
