Wow, after all the S.O.C. titles, most wins in SV history they let him go? His team was stacked this year. What is the deal here?

Understand thAt the some parents were upset that Alvin was not helping former players get Division 1 scholorship

There has never been a kid from Symmes Valley that should have been offered a scholarship in Division 1. Maybe a kid or two could have played NAIA or Division III but that is rare in itself as well. sure you have had great athletes as far as the SOC goes but not the college scholarship material. Most would be lucky to even get a look from Shawnee or Rio Grande let alone a scholarship. That goes for the rest of the county as well.

Alvin Carpenter is (was) the man at Symmes Valley. Hate to see him go. How many SOC Titles he win? I don't think he had a losing season since becoming coach in 99

Alvin is a great man and a great coach.....i wish the new coach this year the best of luck but i REALLY hated to see alvin go. I wish Alvin the best of luck at RH this year....he will be greatly missed at SV
