If Clay can't cut down on their turnovers they will not have a chance in this game. 24 TO's in game one and 28 TO's in game 2, many unforced, have killed them in their first two contest. Clay has the talent, but you can't compete if you turn over the ball before you even get a chance to shoot.

Minford by 11. SOC 2 talent level and competition is just too much for SOC 1 teams....

no knock on clay because nearly all SOC 1 schools would lose to the 2 schools clay has played but they are certainly headed for an 0-3 start.

I think that this one might be close, especailly If Bussler can keep hitting the shots like last game and we can have less turnovers. . I know a few of the players on Clay have been sick as well.
Minford has some talent, so it should be a good match up. Good Luck Panthers!

I dont see why people think that Clay doesnt have talent win they do this year this is a really a deep team all the way around just right now they are not playing like they should

If Clay can contain Sloan and Cogle...they will win. Minford has no offense other than those 2 players. But, Minford plays hard and physical so Clay will have to bring it if they want to win.

I have only watched Clay a little bit this year, but I was not really all that impressed. I didnt see a whole lot of talent. They have some big bodies down low but they are slow, any team that runs and presses against them will make them not a factor. They have a couple of guards who are decent, but they dont seem to handle pressure well. I dont know, just an outsider looking in, but i did not see much basketball talent out there. They do look improved though from the last 2 years and ought to win 10-12 games with their schedule, just my opinion.

This ought to be a good game and I am not sure who will win, but i think the game game will be decided by under 10 points.

Clay will just have to cut down on there turnovers..... They will get better has the season goes on but this game will come down to who wants it more. Could go either way.

I agree with the big guys being slow, and yet Clay seems to insist on playing much faster teams man to man. Go figure.

I think the biggest factor in this game will be how many times Clay turns it over if they dont then they will win easily if not they will end up loosing

outside looking in---both teams in this matchup are totally average. Falcons are average for a SOC II school and Clay for a SOC I. I've seen them both and I think the average Falcon team will edge the Panther team. Clay is completely out of control with the ball and Minford is too physical for them--even giving up the height advantage to Clay the Minford players will muscle them out. Probably will still be decided by 10 or less.
