Have yet to see either one of these teams in a real game this year. However, I did get a chance to watch East at the preview, for what that is worth. East is gonna wanna make it a track meet. Based on what I remember from last season, I dont know if Green can run with them. I look for East to take this one.

If Green pounds the ball into the post, they should win this one. If East gets hot from the perimeter...they can beat anyone. I'll take Green by 6pts

Tartans will take this one. The Cats have no one who can guard the Garrett boys and Greens guard play is too shaky. Token pressure by East will cause many turnovers.

Green has the size advantage, but East has the quickness advantage. We'll just have to wait and see which team can implement their advantages into the game best and utilize them to pick up the win. I'm goin' with East by 7.

So many close games so early in the season for the Tartans. I'm sure these kids would have rather have lost by 30 than just a point. Congrats to the Bobcats on pickin up the win on the road. Keep your heads up Tartans...

Compared to the last three years of Green basketball, the future is looking bright. They just need to win the games they should, and sneak out a couple they maybe shouldnt win, and the confidence of the kids and program will grow.

Not sure how many wins are out there but clearly Green is much, much better than last year despite no new players.

Thanks Pea, glad I could help ;-) ;-)
Seriously, they played much better than I thought. I only had the preview outing to go by. Still need work in several areas but 180 degrees from last years embarrassing season.
I was also glad to see a bench full of players on both the JV and Varsity. Counted 23 kids total.
