Gallipolis at Meigs (Jan. 2, makeup)

Thoughts!
Gallipolis is 3-3 on the year and Meigs 1-6.
Blue Devils on three-game losing streak without senior playmaker Nick Mitchell.
It will be a twinbill--Meigs does not have a freshman team. Understand the reserve game will start at 6:30 p.m., since there will be no freshman game.

Thanks for the offer 4ever. I was just informed I have to babysit the grandkids this evening,so I won't be able to leave till 5:30 or later. Thats if I can go at all, since they are both sick.... I've got to watch the Kentucky/Louisville game first.
But,thanks for the offer anyway. I would have loved to have gone to Millies.......
Hope to see you and Jottings tonight. Be careful!!!!
AND!!!!!
GO BLUE!!!!!!

Why would there be interest in the game! If there will be no changes in the way that it is coached and the players that get to play, we will be watching the same game and losing!
Time to change it up, look for other player combinations to get a win!

Would be a great win for Meigs if they can pull it out...Meigs is always a tough place to play, but i look for the Devils to leave Pomeroy happy.

GAHS led 11-7 after one period and 27-11 during the halftime intermission. The Gallians were on top 41-24 going into the final period. Subs from both teams finished the final minutes of action.
For Gallipolis. Ethan Moore was top gun with 15 points. Chuck Calvart ended his scoring drought with a 14 point effort. Bryce Amos came off the bench to tally nine points for the winners and Jarod Golden finished with seven. Jordan Cornwell had five points and Corey Eberhard four.

The Marauders had 17 personal fouls, 16 turnovers, five assists, two by Cameron Bolin, nine steals, five by Ryan Payne, grandson of the great Don Payne of the 1940s Middleport Yellow Jackets athletic teams and three blocked shots.
Gallipolis returns to Southeastern Ohio Athletic League play on Tuesday, Jan. 5, in the new GAHS gym in Centenary. It will be a triple-header with the freshman game set to begin at 5 p.m. Meigs is idle until Jan. 12 when the Marauders travel to Vinton County for a Tri-Valley Conference battle.
In Saturday’s preliminary game, Gallipolis defeated the Marauder JVs, 39-27, for the Blue Imps fifth win against two setbacks. Meigs dropped to 4-4 on the year.
Gallipolis led 8-6, 20-8 and 27-18 at the quartermarks.
