Re: Fayetteville at Peebles new date & time
ah I was really looking forward to watching a game tuesday!!! What was the reason for the change in time?
Re: Fayetteville at Peebles new date & time
I believe a member of the Fayetteville coaching staff had a death in the family.

easily, he only needs 12 points. I will predict he ends up at 4th or 5th on Peebles's all time men's scoring list.
1. Blake Justice-2,000 plus if he keeps up his numbers
2.Bob Huffman-around 1450
3.Michael Cheesbro-1280 something
4.Marc Kremin/Andrew Seaman-around 1250
5.Marc Kremin/Andrew Seaman

Re: Fayetteville at Peebles new date & time
Speaking of scoring 1000 points- wasn't there a little guard from Peebles that scored around 1200-1300 points in the late 90's early 00's? He would probably be on that list, too, I would say. Does that movie about the Peebles Indians have that information on their website? Maybe I'll check...

Michael Cheesbro was his name I believe...tough matchup for anybody. I could be wrong but I think he graduated in '03? Not sure how many points he scored but I'm thinking around 1,000. I think he also played 4 years varsity. Can a Peebles fan with some background info out there help us out?

Re: Fayetteville at Peebles new date & time
Yeah...that's right- Cheesbro. Looks like he should be added to the forementioned list. I don't recall anyone after Cheesbro to hit 1000 points from Peebles until Justice (and soon Seaman)- am I missing anyone?

All time Peebles scorers, according to wearetheindians.org
Points
1484 Bob Huffman
1296 Marc Kremin
1288 Michael Cheesbro
1179 Blake Justice (as of 1/5/10, according to maxpreps.com)
1098 Dave Smalley
1060 Kelly Copeland
1054 Ralph Turley
1013 Joe Ryan
Marc Kremin only played 3 years varsity, for the record.
The site is only current as of 1999, but it will be updated in the next few weeks. I'd rather not include players until they finish their seniors seasons, because maintaining a site 3 times a week would mean my time on SEOP would suffer, and I know you guys would miss me.

Sorry this looks so messy. It's tidy on the website.

Kremin didn't have a 3 point line either.
Re: Fayetteville at Peebles new date & time
I forgot that he scored 638 points as a junior, averaging 26.5 per game. And he could shoot that jumper from way out.
I'm not sure the 3 is always an advantage, and I'd like an opinion on this: are players taking worse shots because they're beyond the arc? (This doesn't apply to Blake at all, btw...he can shoot from wherever he wants). Have HS scoring averages gone up or down after the 3 was put in place?

Re: Fayetteville at Peebles new date & time
Blake has a very good chance of being Ohio's all time leader in 3 pointers made(or at least top 3). The record is around 320,2nd is about 280, and he already has like 152. If Peebles can go far enough in the tourny the record could be his. Just thought I would add that in
