It'll be interesting to see how the SOC teams vote this year since only two are coming out of this sectional...

Agree. If you look at both Lucasville and Wellston, there are going to be some very good teams that don't make it to the Convo and to make the trip to Athens in the Southeast District a team is going to have to beat at least 1 quality team.

Wellston is loaded with E. Reedsville (7-1), Eastern Pike (7-1), Southern (6-2) and Symmes Valley (4-3). 2 of these fine teams will not make the District tourney. That is tough!

Reedsville Eastern is now 8-1 after two big wins over Southern and Parkersburg Catholic on back to back nights. Catholic was the number 2 team in WV!

Manchester should get the 2 if they beat Whiteoak and Fairfield when they play again.

rankings are useless since this is not bcs and the results on the floor will tell the tale in the end. the only thing that state ratings does is put a big bullseye on racine southern. it is easier to get your kids to play harder if they think they can beat a ranked team, especially if that state ranked team is not that superior.

They may also help in getting seeded higher. How many games have you seen them play sparky?
