Piketon Redstreaks Part Two
Well my Streaks are currently 6-3 and 4-1 (1st) SVC. Losing @ Huntington 52-49, Columbus Mifflin 84-83 and @ Waverly 50-48...6 points the difference of being 9-0.
Streaks are averaging *71.2ppg; giving up 52.4; point differential of *-18.8. Evan Legg leads the Streaks scoring *21.1ppg; *4.3 asst; *3.3 steals a game, shooting *80% from the free throw line. Caleb Southworth averaging 13.4ppg.; *11.7 rebs; 2.6 blks. Keenan Brush Averaging 8.2 rebs; *3.0 blks. Jamie Helton averaging 9.3 ppg. The Streaks are getting strong support from Jared Vulgamore, James Lewis, Jordan Buckler, Craigen Moore, and Jacob Braniff. Streaks appear to be 9 deep with Jordan Miller slowly but surely returning from an injury.
I look for the Streaks to make a strong surge the second half of the season. Getting Southworth back from All-Star Football and with Coach Lisath is slowly bringing others along, I expect the results to be a very strong multi-talented team come tournament time.
Streaks will still have their hands full on the road with upcoming opponents such as @ Zane Trace; @ Zanesville; @OUC vs. Vinton County; @ Southeastern & Unioto and the big rematch with their Nemesis Huntington. It will be tough, but those kids are tough and they've been through the battles....I'm looking forward to great things from this point forward....I guess we will soon see!

Re: Piketon Redstreaks Part Two
How big of an effect will the ineligible players have on the rest of the season?

This should not be discussed on here period.
If it is true the young man or men do not need to be bashed

Re: Piketon Redstreaks Part Two
No one is getting bashed, losing a couple of players will probably have an effect. Not like people won't notice who is missing at the next game.

Re: Piketon Redstreaks Part Two
No one is bashing anyone.I am simply asking a question..I think it is ok to disscuss this on here..I just want to know who one of the better teams in our area will have playing or wont have playing the rest of the season. There has been no bashing and hope there is none.Hopefully it is just a false rumor but if not,I think it is ok to talk about because it would affect the team.
Re: Piketon Redstreaks Part Two
Yes someone is ineligible. Not going to mention any names, but he a BIG part of the offense. He will be out until March is the word I'm hearing. It's a shame that it happened, but the team as a whole will have to step up and fill the hole that was made.

Maybe but we know how things get out of hand.
Need to be careful with this someone could get in a lot of trouble.

I heard it was post secondary work, not HS work. Those grades have been out for weeks.

Oh yeah, coaches that don't work in the district are always in the loop! ha!
Like I said hopefully they get it resolved so the Streaks can continue their season at full strength.
